Informal lorry parking is a problem in Swale and in March 2019 Cabinet gave authority to officers to explore further with Canterbury City Council, Kent County Council and Highways England potential options for lorry parking. This report sets out the scale and extent of the problem and considers whether the Council should continue to engage with partners in respect of identifying potential options for lorry parking.
