The Council must put in place its Council Tax Support (CTS) scheme to give help to those residents on a low income. From December 2017, Universal Credit will change to Full Service in Swale meaning that couples and families will start to claim Universal Credit. The CTS scheme will need to be reviewed to take account of this. A consultation will need to be completed by September and the scheme must be approved by Members by 31 January 2018.
