The Cabinet Member for Community introduced the report which sought approval of the revised policy on Covert Surveillance and Access to Communication Data.  The Cabinet Member referred Members to paragraph 2.3 in the report which highlighted the suggested minor revisions, with the revised policy set-out in Appendix I of the report.

Resolved:

(1)      That the revised Covert Surveillance and Access to Communications Data Policy be approved.
