To receive the Action Plan and discuss future planning and priorities for the Forum.

The Action Plan was originally produced in 2008 following a workshop session where the Rural Forum decided some guidance was needed to determine a 'way forward' and to ensure the Forum doesn't become stagnant (report attached).  Rural Forum members are kindly asked to consider what actions could be carried out by the Forum to highlight rural issues.  For example the site visit organised by the National Farmers Union to Gaskains Farm in Summer 2009 highlighted polytunnels.
