MINUTES of the Meeting held in the Council Chamber, Swale House, East Street, Sittingbourne on Wednesday 14th February 2007 from 4:00 pm to 4:07 pm.

Present: Councillor John Wright (Chairman), Councillors Barnicott and Walker.

Officers Present: Miss Davies, Mrs Potts and Mr Hawkins.

Also In Attendance: Mr Spreadbury (Police Licensing Officer).

hearing in respect of a temporary events notice for cleve farm, graveney - 12th/13th may 2007

The Chairman explained the reason for the hearing; in order to comply with legislation, an initial hearing had to take place within ten working days of receiving an objection, the case did not have to be determined within this timescale and it can be adjourned. He advised that the Licensing Officer would visit the application site on 15th February 2007.

Mr Spreadbury informed the Sub-Committee that the application was for a Temporary Events Notice for a birthday party for 450 guests at Cleve Farm, Graveney. He outlined the Police's reasons for objection and it was agreed that this would be considered in more detail at the reconvened meeting on 9th March 2007.

RESOLVED:

(1) That the hearing in respect of a Temporary Events Notice for Cleve Farm, Graveney be adjourned to Friday 9th March 2007 to allow time for accurate reports and information to be collated by all parties concerned.
