notice relating to acceptance of an urgent item for cabinet meeting 12 march 2014



In accordance with the Council’s Access to Information Procedure Rules – 20 Special Urgency the following item has been accepted as an Urgent Item, with the agreement of the Chairmen of the Policy Overview Committee and Scrutiny Committee:
 
·         Land in Sittingbourne
 
The report is confidential and is to authorise the Head of Property to bid for the property at auction up to a certain figure.
 
Given the date of the auction it is not possible to satisfy the requirement of Procedure Rule 19 – General Exceptions and so it cannot reasonably be deferred without the opportunity to bid being missed.
